We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it across toraken.com, Toraken AI Search, AiNote, and the single Toraken account those products share, which is also used to sign in on dosi-in.com.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Device Information (Fingerprinting)

We generate a simple device identifier using the following non-personally-identifiable information:

  • Browser user agent (browser type and version)
  • Screen resolution
  • Language preference
  • Timezone offset
Purpose: This anonymous identifier helps us understand usage patterns, prevent abuse, and improve our service. We do not use this to identify you personally.

2.2 Location Data

With your permission, we may collect your approximate geographic location to:

  • Show products from the nearest store locations
  • Provide location-relevant search results
  • Display local pricing and availability

You can deny location access at any time through your browser settings. The service will still work without location data.

2.3 Search and Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with our service:

  • Search queries you enter
  • Products you view or add to cart
  • Session duration and flow type
  • Language preferences

2.4 Technical Information

Our servers automatically collect:

  • IP address (for security and country detection)
  • Browser type and version
  • Country of origin (from Cloudflare)

2.5 Account and Sign-in Data

Browsing needs no account. When you choose to sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive from that provider and store:

  • Your email address, display name and profile picture
  • Your user identifier at that provider (never your password: we have no password sign-in)
  • The time of your most recent sign-in
  • A random session identifier in a cookie on our sign-in gateway, HttpOnly, expiring after 24 hours of inactivity or 7 days at most
  • Your IP address only as a one-way hash, used to limit abusive sign-in attempts

This is one account shared across Toraken AI Search, AiNote and dosi-in.com, so signing in on one signs you in on the others.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Provide search results and product recommendations
  • Improve search accuracy and AI models
  • Analyze usage patterns and performance
  • Prevent fraud and abuse
  • Show nearest store locations (with location permission)

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Cloudflare: Content delivery, security, and analytics
  • Google Fonts: Typography (Inter, Playfair Display)
  • Supabase: The database that stores your account when you sign in
  • Google and Meta (Facebook): Sign-in providers, involved only when you choose to sign in with them, under their own privacy policies

These services may collect anonymized data according to their own privacy policies.

5. Data Retention

  • Session data: Retained for 90 days for analytics
  • Aggregated analytics: Retained indefinitely (non-personal)
  • Local storage (browser): You can clear at any time
  • Account data: Kept until you ask us to delete it

We use browser local storage to save:

  • Cached location coordinates (24 hours)
  • Shopping cart contents

We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
